Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced M365 Migration Engineer to join our team, with a strong focus on Exchange and SharePoint migrations. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with deep expertise in Microsoft 365 workloads and proven experience using leading migration tools such as Quest ODM.

You will play a key role in planning, executing, and supporting migrations in complex enterprise environments, including those involving mergers and acquisitions. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, technically proficient, and comfortable working directly with clients and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and execute Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations using Quest On Demand and ShareGate.
  • Migrate workloads including Exchange Online mailboxes, Teams (including chat history and configurations), OneDrive, and SharePoint Online sites.
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate migration tasks and reporting.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve migration-related issues and provide post-migration support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure minimal disruption during migrations.
  • Create detailed technical documentation including migration plans, runbooks, and post-migration reports.
  • Ensure compliance with security and governance policies throughout the migration process.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 migration projects, with a primary focus on Exchange Online and SharePoint Online.
  • Hands-on experience with Quest On Demand Migration (ODM) 
  • Solid understanding and experience with Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) and Entra ID Connect.
  • Strong skills in Active Directory architecture, synchronization, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting in M365 environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong business acumen
  • Previous experience collaborating and working with US based teams
  • Ability to work partial US hours

 

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with Intune and/or System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for device management.
  • Involvement in IT projects related to mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures, including domain consolidations or tenant-to-tenant migrations.
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-100, MS-101, or equivalent) are a plus.
    • MS-102: Microsoft 365 Administrator
    • SC-300: Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator
    • AZ-500: Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate
    • MD-102: Endpoint Administrator Associate (nice to have)
