JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a MuleSoft Lead Developer with 8+ years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering end to end project. The ideal candidate must possess strong expertise in MuleSoft (API-Led Architecture), as well as solid hands-on experience in Java and SQL. The candidate will lead the project’s end-to-end implementation, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs that meet business needs.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Solution Design & Architecture:
    • Architect and design an API-led connectivity solution leveraging MuleSoft (System, Process, and Experience APIs).
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and prepare technical documentation.
    • Design integration solutions that interact with various backend systems (CRM, E-commerce, MF systems, Incentive Management, etc.).
    • Work closely with stakeholders to provide updates, clarify requirements, and manage expectations.
  • Development & Implementation:
    • Develop MuleSoft APIs from scratch, ensuring proper data flow between systems, processes, and experience layers.
    • Hands-on development for complex integrations using Mule 4.x.
    • Write efficient Javacode where needed for custom components or extensions within MuleSoft.
    • Perform SQL developmentfor database integrations, queries, optimizations, and performance tuning.
  • Technical Leadership:
    • Guide a team of developers, provide technical mentoring, and conduct code reviews.
    • Establish development standards, best practices, and reusable assets.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end, back-end, and QA teams, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Performance & Security:
    • Implement API policies like OAuth 2.0, throttling, rate-limiting, and IP whitelisting.
    • Ensure the system is scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.
  • Testing and Troubleshooting:
    • Conduct unit testing using MUnit and integration testing.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly to ensure project milestones are met.
    • Collaborate with the testing team to validate end-to-end workflows.
Required Skills
  • MuleSoft Expertise:
    • 5+ years of experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 4.x preferred).
    • Proven experience in designing API-Led solutions (System, Process, Experience APIs).
    • Strong knowledge of DataWeave, RAML, and MuleSoft connectors.
  • Java Development:
    • Proficiency in Java for building custom components, integration logic, or microservices.
    • Experience in developing RESTful APIs using Java.
  • SQL Development:
    • Strong experience with SQL for querying, creating tables, optimizing queries, and performance tuning.
    • Knowledge of relational databases like Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server.
  • Integration and Middleware:
    • Hands-on experience integrating enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, E-commerce, and Financial systems.
    • Exposure to tools like Postman, SOAPUI for API testing.
  • Other Technical Skills:
    • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions).
    • Strong understanding of API security (OAuth, JWT).
    • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
