JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description of Tidal Workload Automation 
  • Knowledge on Batch Scheduling Tools like Tidal Workload Automation, Control-M, Autosys etc.
  • Basic understanding on Tidal Architecture and Tidal Components (Master, Client Manager, Agents, Adapters etc.)
  • Basic knowledge on SQL Database.
Job Monitoring (L1)
  • Hands-on experience in notifying the on-call person for abended jobs and monitoring long-running jobs.
  • Hands-on experience in managing and operating Tidal-scheduled jobs as well as triggering ad-hoc jobs based on business requirements.
Job Creation and Scheduling (L2):
  • Hands-on experience to create and modify different types of Tidal Jobs.
  • Expertise on creating different types of Events and Actions.
  • Ability to create different types of calendars.
  • Creation of different types of Run time users.
  • Configuring different types of dependencies as per business requirement.
  • Proficient in creating and configuring various types of agents and adapters.
  • Basic knowledge on creating security policies.
Administration of Tidal Workload Automation and provide L3/L4/L5 Support:
  • Hands on experience in performing hotfix installations, Tidal upgrades & migration.
  • Experienced in driving the automation of operational and batch processes within the application development and infrastructure teams, including leading user-education programs and product demos.
  • Reviews and oversees the implementation of job scheduling requests to evaluate processing requirements and ensure business SLAs are met.
  • Set up monitoring for all jobs including alert, messaging and escalation based on application SLA using Tidal workload Automation.
  • Develop key performance metrics to analyse and report on performance and resource usage in order to manage capacity planning and drive operational improvements and cost reductions.
  • Perform analysis, design and implementation of batch processing workflows using Tidal Workload Automation.
  • Implement job streams with complex dependencies and manage complex calendar schedules using Tidal Workload Automation.
  • Responsible for overseeing the restart and rerun of all production jobs, creating and maintaining accurate documentation, including all job dependencies, and the development and maintenance of standard operation procedures.
  • Understands the business requirements and structures plans, processes, and procedures to address customer requests quickly and effectively within audit guidelines
  • Monitor and respond to alarms, assess impact, troubleshoot and resolve by acting as a Subject Matter Expertise.
  • Support application teams and tuning of Tidal Workload Automation infrastructure.
  • Handle Client’s concerns and provide technical solutions.
